Good evening Mr. Mayor and other authorities, ladies and gentlemen, I want to thank the President of Cecina Promotion for her vitality and energy and thank you all to attend this cultural event. Tonight I feel very happy because we are all together at the beautiful Lake of Garda riverside attending the Chinese culture evening with the theme “ one world – one dream”, which is the slogan of the Beijing Olympic Games. Today is also the eve of the Beijing Olympic Games opening ceremony (only 10 days later). So we are all here to have a chance to share the efforts we made for the Olympic fields in different fields. Tonight in the presented video show we let you know more about Chinese history and culture, Chinese hospitality and development in order to promote the relationship between China and Italy. I believe that the world’s people including Italian people, hope and support the Beijing Olympics whishing it to be an successful event. We all live in one world, like a big family, Beijing Olympic Games is the best chance to strengthen peace in the world, to communicate with each other.
