Cecina, Lake of Garda, "Art Week" Once again the art week of Cecina at Garda Lake confirmed its international character, leaving the borders of middle Europe and inviting also China to the festival. In the name of culture the following nations, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Rumania have presented like in a corolla through art and music twenty eight selected art collections which were exhibited in the unique atmosphere of the antique village. It is remarkable that Cecina Promotion under the tireless guidance of its president Charlotte Heiss always succeeds to unite the different identities of the various nations with the local values of the territory of Lake Garda excelling its history and landscape beauties. The narrow roads, little squares and private rooms in the historic village are dressed up with paintings, sculptures, art objects of ceramic and glass. There is fashion and jewellery, concerts, conferences, wine and food tasting all that for seven magic evenings in the first week of august. |
